As I've finished SG:A, instead of watching SGU, I've tossed in my Sanctuary DVDs. I've watched the original webisodes, and I'm almost done with the first disc of regular eps.

While I'm now used to Amanda's not-quite-convincing English accent, I am enjoying it. My favourite abnormal so far is the two-faced-man. After finishing SG:A, I'd so love it if one face was Chuck and the other Chet. But that's just me, and I'm weird.

I foresee me prowling Sanctuary icon sites in the hear future.

Christmas Eve at home with Mom and Tom, Christmas Day at Grandma's as Uncle Mark and Jan were home from Tennessee, and Boxing Day with Dad, Ashley and Grandma. Not sure I want to have than many Christmases anymore. It's January now and I'm still worn out.

Chelsea had a fairly good holiday time on the pitch. A draw against Birmingham on Boxing Day gave way to a 2-1 win against Fulham on the 28th and today's 5-0 FA Cup crushing over Watford. I'm a bit disappointed this match wasn't televised at all with so many of our young guys playing. And Sturridge scoring his first two goals out of preseason.

I finished Stargate: Atlantis last night, so I need to get started on all the SGU on the DVR.

My web host I've loved since 2007 has decided to join the ranks of crappy hosts. I've lost everything including my Coppermine gallery with 2000+ graphics I've made and all my book lists from 2006 to present. *grumbles*

Oh, and to welcome me into the new year, I'm getting sick. Sore throat, stuffy nose, can't get enough sleep, muscle weakness, etc. NyQuil the past two nights hasn't seemed to do much to stave this off. My voice is doing weird things today.

Ok, so that recap sucks. But it's as good as it's gonna get at this point.

P.S. I got a not-a-Christmas card on New Years Eve from xheartrockx because she knew I'd cry like a little girl if I didn't.

HAPPY B-DAY, GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My first post of 2010 shouldn't be pouty, but it's 2am so it's going to be. A little bit. And no, I haven't been drinking.

So I babysat tonight (6hrs = $125 for my road trip!) and as happy as I am to have made the moolah, while sitting and eating dinner with a three year old for company on New Years Eve, I realized it pretty much summed up my entire 2009. And that made me a little cranky.

I try not to make new years resolutions, because they usually tend to focus on the negative and three weeks later I'm no longer motivated, however....

1.) Get to a comfortable weight. I won't ever been 'thin', I'm too muscular for that.
2.) I'm thinkin' about doing a photo-a-day thing... but I don't know if I'm disciplined enough for that, and
3.) Work on my own original fic - and improve my NCISfic.

Ok, so none of those are resolutions, I don't want to jinx myself... so more like 'suggestions' for myself.

Okay, time for bed. Hope 2010 is off to a great start for everyone!!

edit:// The night wasn't a total wash though... they had a HUUUUGE tv. And they've got OnDemand. I watched all four NCIS eps that are currently posted on OnDemand. Don't worry, I was sure to wipe the lipstick marks off the screen before they came home. Gibbs and co. looked pretty awesome/lifesize.

Also, I enjoyed approximately eight snippets of conversation withashzidi  - due to phone!fail on both of our parts, we kept getting disconnected.
